LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

Workplace Religious Freedom Act

AB 1964

August 2, 2012

Constituent phone calls and emails have been heard.  To date AB 1964 has successfully passed though four committees with very little opposition.  AB 1964 will next be heard in the Senate Appropriations Committee, scheduled for August 6, before moving to a vote on the Senate Floor.  We look forward to passing this bill in the Senate and getting it to the Governor's desk, hopefully by the end of August.

Once the bill has passed the Appropriations Committee we anticipate that things will move very quickly.  We will need Constituent help again!   The Senator’s contact information is listed here under Contact Your Legislator.

You can also get up to date information by liking Church State Council on Face Book.

Remember, the easiest way to lose our freedom, is to do nothing!
